Revised version : The Sacred Congregation for Divine Warship recommends that the traditional Stations be revised to emphasize that the suffering and resurrection of Christ are one redemptive mystery.

Jesus, you consider us your friends. You walk side by side with us on the journey of life. You know its joys and hopes, its suffering and pain. Today we want to walk with you on your way to the Cross. Your suffering, your death, your rising from the dead give meaning to our lives. The way of the Cross is the way of life.
